Lasconka was founded by two best friends Denisa and Eva in April 2022. The two have known each other for over 3.5 years. Their friendship is like a puzzle. Denisa puts one piece, Eva puts another. They make a perfect team and they put their hard work to provide the best service and the products.

Creating cakes for any special occasion including birthday, wedding, engagement, anniversary, baby shower, communion, christening, hen party, stag party, retirement, leaving, Mother's Day and Father's Day.

DENISA BESTOVA - Managing Director, Home Baker, Sales & Marketing Executive
I was born in the Czech Republic. I've been living in the UK for nearly 9 years. I'm a mum of 9 months old Maxmilian. I like travelling, Latin dance, mountain walking, history, doing puzzles, playing ping pong, going to the gym... but hmmm - who has time to manage all with 9 old little one :) Hopefully one of my dreams will come true and I will visit Tibet ... One day 😉
I studied Business, Management and Foreign Trade. The university gave me the opportunity to get the certification of Animator and Flight Attendant. After exams, I started my carrier at a bank and worked there for 4 long years. But after all those experiences, I decided to try something different and move to England as always I was interested in meeting people and learning their habits and culture...
I've never studied baking or taken any baking classes. I started my carrier with baking cupcakes, pies and cakes for my family, friends and colleagues. One of my colleagues was amazed by my cakes and she asked me if I could make a birthday cake for her partner. As I love to take on challenges, I said 'why not!' Then I continued to receive orders for special occasions.
I was never interested in any form of art before, I discovered my talent and creativity with baking cakes and cupcakes. Since then, I have been pushing myself creatively and constantly developing new skills. I have been creating unique cakes and cupcakes for over 3 years.
I don't have any limits on baking. I can create anything that my clients desire.
EVA KUZMOVA - Managing Director, Sales & Marketing Executive, Baking Support
I’m a person who is positive about every aspect of life. I was born in Slovakia. Even though I studied environmental technology, I have always been interested in economy and marketing. I have gained experience by working in the industry lately.
Back at home, when the company I worked for decided to move their headquarters, I had to quit my job and decided to start a new chapter in my life. I wanted to improve my English and discovered this beautiful town Bournemouth to study. I fell in love with this town and decided to stay. Now, I've been living here for over 6 years.
​There are many things that I like to do, see and experience. I love reading books and travelling. I travelled a lot before the pandemic and I can't wait to go back to travelling again. My favourite country I've ever visited is Japan. Back in time, I used to do judo and it made me interested in Japanese culture. It was beyond words to visit Kyoto, which is the centre of the history and Tokyo, which is the present culture of Japan.
My family and my friends know me like big coffee lover. I never say no, if someone invites me for coffee 😉😆
